A Fundraising-Focused Nonprofit Video for the MAC Fund

Ideal Video Strategies produced the above video for the MAC Fund at Mount Auburn Hospital

This project came to us through a referral. We had a quick conversation, and it didn’t take long to understand how important their mission is.

The MAC Fund had a clear need; they were looking to increase funding and better communicate the impact they have on the patients they serve. Like many nonprofits, they’re navigating changes in funding, and telling their story in a compelling way is more important than ever.

What they do is pretty incredible. The MAC Fund provides additional services to patients at no cost, helping make sure they can get to appointments, understand their care, and have access to the resources they need to stay healthy. Whether it’s nurse visits, patient support, or transportation assistance, they’re filling in the gaps that can make a real difference in someone’s outcome.

We worked with their team to create a video that not only explains what they do, but shows the impact behind it. This shoot had a bit more structure than some of our others. We used a scripted approach while still keeping it grounded in an interview-style format. Multiple people came in to deliver key messaging, helping guide the story in a clear and intentional way.

To bring everything together, we captured B-roll and incorporated a testimonial element by visiting a patient’s home and speaking with a family member. Those real-life perspectives always add a level of authenticity that you just can’t replicate any other way.

At the end of the day, this video was about more than just awareness, it was about creating something that helps drive support so the MAC Fund can continue doing what they do best.

If you’re a nonprofit trying to better communicate your mission or increase funding, this is exactly where video can help. And if you’re looking to support an organization making a real impact, the MAC Fund is doing just that.
